Kimberly Hoy, 37, of Rome, went home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 6, 2012. Born in Rome on September 11, 1974, she was a daughter of John and Sylvia Dantzler Robinson. Kimberly attended Rome Free Academy and for several years was employed by Birnie Bus Service, Inc.
Surviving are two daughters, Shayla Robinson and Shaabria Hoy; a grandson, Jaylen Jones; her mother Sylvia Dantzler Smith; two sisters Carmen Dantzler and Kaia Robinson; Kim’s nieces, Tajana and Kyania; her nephews, Dana, Tasheik, Stephen Jr., Tevin, Nasir, Javell and Shamel; aunt Merian Dantzler, all of Rome; uncle Timothy Williams, Durham NC; husband Angelo Hoy; and several cousins.
Services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Strong and Burns Funeral Home, 401 N. George St. Friends may call Wednesday at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
