SOLAR SAVINGS — The city’s solar panel field on top of the Fort Stanwix parking garage is one of three it owns — here, City Hall and Kennedy Arena. The energy they generate is handled by National Grid, which provides credit toward the city’s bill. This group of panels helps reduce costs for the offices on the garage’s first floor.
