LYONS FALLS — Two Lewis County teen-agers are accused of siphoning gasoline from a Department of Public Works truck Wednesday night.

Sheriff’s deputies said Bradley Q. Rogers, 17, of 7295 Wild Cat Road, Port Leyden, and James M. Rice, 18, of 7468 Pennysettlement Road, Port Leyden, siphoned 10 gallons of gas from a parked DPW pickup truck at about 10 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies said they were both taken into custody on Thursday on a charge of petty larceny.

The two teens are scheduled to appear in court.
