LOWELL — There are two weekend events in the Lowell United Methodist Church. A story Thursday incorrectly grouped them.

Saturday,there will be a pot luck Mexican dinner (bring a dish to share) from 4-8 p.m.

Sunday there will be a celebration of the heritage of 188 years for the church. A covered dish dinner will be at 11 a.m. (bring a dish to pass), at 2:30 p.m. there will be music by Pete Rose with country and railroad songs and at 4:30 p.m. Mike Tebo and his Gospel group performs. An offering will be taken for the bands.
