VERONA — The town will conduct a dog census in the upcoming months and owners will be required to license their canines.

Those who need to license their dogs should come to the Town Clerk’s Office on Germany Road with a current Certificate of Rabies and Certificate of Spay or Neutering. The fee is $5 for a spayed or neutered dog and $13 if the dog is not. Failure to license a dog may result in additional fees and a court appearance ticket.
