WATERVILLE — The Westmoreland Bulldogs showed some bite against Center State Conference Division III foe Waterville during a 10-3 triumph for their third baseball victory this season.
Westmoreland starter Kyle Doolen struck out 12 and allowed no earned runs on his way to a complete-game four hitter for the Bulldogs, which moved to 2-2 in the league and 3-7 overall.
Sophomores Anthony Poile and Andrew Zimmerman had three hits apiece to lead the Bulldogs’ bats.
Steve Olmstead was hit with the loss on the mound for Waterville, 0-3 in the league and 2-6 overall.
Westmoreland will host Sauquoit Valley on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
