The Rome Free Academy junior varsity girls lacrosse squad fell to a 11-3 defeat from visiting Auburn on Tuesday.

MacKenzie D’Auito put in a goal and made an assist for the Lady Knights, as Cheyenne and Sarah Smith both tallied a goal, and Gabbie Carter added an assist.

Goalkeeper Megan Pritchard recorded 12 saves in the defeat.

Bulldogs drop to Oriskany

The Westmoreland junior varsity softball team dropped to a 14-6 loss to visiting Oriskany.

Callie Cushman had eight strikeouts for the Lady Bulldogs on the mound, and Morgan Barber fanned five batters, as well.
