The New Hartford Animal Hospital is holding a parasite control presentation for pets from 3:15 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday at Schuyler Commons, 1776 Independence Square, Utica.

The presentation is free and each person who attends will receive a pet-related gift. To register, call 266-0145.

The presentation by Dr. Maria Arnsman, DVM, will educate attendees on the importance of parasite control in pets and the best ways to control fleas and ticks.
