Rome Area Chapter AARP will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18 in the First United Methodist Church, 400 N. George St.

Cheryl Matt, postmaster at Rome Post Office on East Garden Street, will present a program about rising prices in postage and the services and benefits provided by the local post office, including having stamps received by mail.

Free gifts will be available.
