TOWN OF WESTMORELAND — A Whitesboro man was found with marijuana after law enforcers said they pulled him over for speeding on the Thruway Friday afternoon.

Syracuse-based state police said Miguel A. Rivera, 22, of 13 Abbey Road, was pulled over for speeding in the eastbound lane through Westmoreland at about 3:40 p.m. Friday. Troopers said Rivera was released on an appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana. He is scheduled to appear in Town Court on Feb. 1.
