Wendy Lynn Spindler and Jay Peter Giblin were married Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at Teugega Country Club.
The bride, daughter of Robert and Valerie Spindler, 120 Wakefield Lane, Ava, was escorted by her parents. The bridegroom is the son of John and Jeanne Giblin, Eastham, MA.
Rabbi (Emeritus) Henry Bamberger officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony.
Matron of Honor was Shana Spindler, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Billings, Lisa Finley, Laura Myhr, Tara LaLonde and Cindy Polizzi.
Peter Giblin served as the best man for his brother. Guests were seated by Jason Spindler, brother of the bride; Jeff Baume; Chris Morris; Paul Giblin; and Kevin Tvrdy.
Following a reception at Teugega Country Club, the couple departed on a honeymoon trip to Bermuda. Dr. and Mrs. Giblin reside in North Reading, MA.
Mrs. Giblin, a graduate of Clarkson University and Penn State University, is a contract administrator for GE Aviation in Lynn, MA. Her husband, a graduate of Clarkson University and the University of Notre Dame, is employed as a principal scientist at Physical Sciences, Inc., Andover, MA.
