COOPERSTOWN — The Baseball Hall of Fame has announced the addition of several more names to the roster of the second annual Baseball Hall of Fame Classic legend’s baseball game on Father’s Day Sunday, June 20 at Doubleday Field.

Former players who have recently said that they will be stepping to the plate during the event include Lee Smith, John Doherty, Mike Pagliarulo, Rich Surhoff, Paul Blair, Brian Boehringer, Jay Johnstone, Bill Madlock and Dennis Rasmussen.

Those previously announced as attending are Hall of Famers Gary Carter, Bob Feller, Rollie Fingers, Goose Gossage, Harmon Killebrew, Phil Niekro and Ozzie Smith.

Smith, Doherty, Pagliarulo, and Surhoff participated in last year’s inaugural event, while Blair, Boehringer, Johnstone, Madlock, and Rasmussen will be the featured rookies at the event.

Tickets are on sale for the game and can be purchased though Sunday, March 28 by calling 1-866-849-7770 or by visiting the Web site www.baseballhall.org. Tickets are priced at $12.50 for first and third base seats and $11 for outfield seating. General admission tickets will be made available for purchase via phone or internet sales starting on Monday, March 29 should any seats remain.
