VERNON — Free entertainment is offered at the Vernon Downs casino.

Vernon Downs Casino will feature two special events in December. At the "First Friday Polka Party" Salt City Brass will be the featured act.

On New Year’s Eve, the entertainment starts early with Custom Taylor Band on stage from 1 to 5 p.m. Then, Soul Injection will take the stage from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. featuring the second annual ball drop, a champagne toast and confetti launch at midnight.
