OLD FORGE — The Adirondack Scenic Railroad is hosting two winter trains this month — A Valentine’s Day Train and a Ski Train.
It has not run a winter train since 2002.
Feb. 14 the Valentine’s Day Train will leave Utica at 3 p.m. for a ride through the snowy countryside to Boonville. Passengers will then enjoy a relaxing Prime Rib or Chicken Alfredo dinner at the 1812 Hulburt House in the historic village. Feb. 15 the Ski Train will leave Utica at 9 a.m. for the ride through the north country to Snow Ridge ski area. Upon arrival at Lyony Falls, passengers will be transported to Snow Ridge for a day of downhill or cross country skiing. Rentals & lessons are available.
